Social Sidekick is a mobile app operated by RELATIGO Technologies. Social Sidekick provides AI-powered conversation practice, feedback, companion chat, and optional voice features. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and how users can delete their account and app data.
Information We Collect
Social Sidekick collects the information needed to run and personalize the app. This may include:
- Name, email address, account ID, and user ID.
- Profile settings, language, age range, gender, consent acknowledgements, token balances, voice-minute usage, and subscription status.
- Free-form user content, including profile text, trainer messages, companion messages, feedback requests, and companion memory summaries.
- Voice input, audio processing data, and voice transcripts when you choose to use optional voice features.
- Purchase history and subscription information when purchases or subscriptions are active.
- Product interaction and diagnostics data where available, such as app usage counters, feature usage needed to operate subscriptions or voice limits, and error information needed to improve reliability.
How We Collect Information
We collect information when you create or manage an account, complete your profile, type messages or other free-form content, use Trainer or Companion features, choose to use voice features, make or restore a purchase, contact support, or otherwise interact with the app. Voice/audio is collected only when you choose to start a voice conversation and grant microphone permission.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide the app, manage accounts, personalize conversations, generate AI responses and feedback, maintain companion memory, manage subscriptions and token usage, provide optional voice conversations, improve reliability, maintain safety, and comply with legal obligations.
OpenAI and Third-Party Service Providers
After you give permission in the app, Social Sidekick sends your chat messages, relevant profile context, Trainer and Companion session content, voice/audio, transcripts, feedback requests, and companion memory summaries to OpenAI, a third-party AI service. OpenAI processes this data to generate AI responses, feedback, summaries, and realtime voice conversations.
Text chat requests pass through Social Sidekick's Supabase-hosted backend before being sent to OpenAI. Supabase also provides account authentication and database hosting. Payment and subscription data may be processed by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. Email addresses may be processed by communication providers for account-related messages and optional marketing emails only when you opt in.
We require OpenAI and our other service providers to provide the same or equivalent protection for personal data as described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law, and to use it only to provide their contracted services. You should not enter information that you do not want shared with and processed by OpenAI.
Advertising and Tracking
Social Sidekick does not use collected data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account and app data from inside the app in Settings. Deleting your Social Sidekick account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately in your App Store account.
Children
Social Sidekick is not intended for children under 13. Mature companion modes require the user to confirm they are 18 or older.
